Shifting of the office of the Commissioner (Appeals)

Sir,
It has been learnt that the present
premises occupied for Commissioner(Appeals), Indore’s office is proposed to be
vacated and shifted to already
constrained space at CHO Complex or at Manikbagh Palace, Hqrs., Office
premises.
02. This is highly surprising that at a time
when the Hqrs., Office at Manikbagh Palace & Central Excise Offices at C G
O Complex, Indore are already having space constraints its not a welcome decision to vacate the said
premises to either at Manikbagh Palace or at C G O Complex, Indore.
03. This association has time & again at
all available platforms has been raising the issue of insufficient space and
unhealthy workplace environment but no attention was paid. The decision of
shifting Commissioner(Appeals), Indore’s office at Manikbagh Palace or at CGO
Complex will make the two office space & other amenities further worse.
04. This association, therefore, request to
give a second thought to the said decision, and the decision of shifting of
Commissioner( Appeals), Indore’s office be differed till alternative
arrangement is made.
